Climbing at Ennstal
Climbing has established as a kind of sport and affords both young and old and beginners and advanced learners in the national park region Ennstal the fascination “climbing” to live. It is the game with the own body, the experience of the gravitation and the strain through the experience of highs, which makes this kind of sport so attractive. 12 climbing-areas with routes in all grades of difficulty and the climbing centre Großraming with its 13m high wall of all tendencies and difficulties make the national park region Ennstal to the real El Dorado for friends of the climbing sport. The rock face reaches its biggest altitude on the Nixloch near Losenstein (till 75 m) and on the “Wolkerlmauer” in Pechgraben near Großraming.
